okayy, and I'm back from eating. hehs. guess ate too much,too energetic to sleep.
Today morning had PM lecture, about TOR which means the term of reference the reference to complete the project. It contains the what you want to do for your project,What you intend to achieve, resources that you will need, anticipated problems (risks) you may encounter and your plan to overcome them, Work schedule. All these are for referencing to able to build what is needed on the project itself. The sections in TOR also covers the objective and scope of project, so that to know what you're focusing on the project itself, to save all the unnecessary in the project. Although today's lecture is a kind of short cause we had a meeting having all the students to prepare the interaction activity this night. Still, i hope through the practicals i can find understanding in the TOR, as i had some of the TOR questions mistaken. I gotta do the practical and try to practice more, in order to let Mr Tan correct my mistakes. He had went through the CPM with us, and then i realise some mistakes i did. After every job needs a milestone, to review what have the each process do. Shall take note from there. ((:
The lecture had then ended at 11am, had a brief meeting about the activity. Head back to dormitory then, had some rest while in the dormitory. The girls did their own things and chit chatted together., really had fun talking with the girls.((: I took some rest and start preparing and head to the interaction activity at 7pm. Appeared late, but just in time to watch some of the performance done by some local students. hahas. Enjoyed. Separated ourselves into group of 4 big groups and start playing games!!
First my group had went to play the chair game, passing game lar. Ice breaker game actually, hmm get to know some of the names of the students some of them even just started schooling not long ago!! omg, they tried their best to communicate with us in english but still hmm i would say they did their best. And they even have surprising English names! Summer, Yahoo, Winner, special names. hahas. I find them quite daring to take a chance in like outstanding themselves. They like to sing, i even had one local friend Terry nice guy to sing for me!! hahas, so dran honoured.((: I did chicken dance for my forfeit, Singapore students are full of crazy ideas, but the local students are quite shy and just presented their vocals as forfeit.
Had carried on to play the captain's ball game, the locals dint know what's that?!! omg. i thought many knew the game, hmm guess they weren't that sporty afterall, they were quite shy when playing games with us. Especially this captain ball game, I then realise they weren't that active, they were all shy and standing one side don't know what to do. Maybe they were just not familiar with the game that's all. Should have play longer and often with them, had so many laughters with them!!((:
Carried on with the third game was hand holding, everbody's hand is hold 2 different partner's hand and was entangled. All we had to do is to free our hands but not breaking the chain(hands), it was easy and our small group did it!! hahas. sup sup sui!!!
Last game was hmm, the passing on game, two people three legged game. that's when i got to work together with a local student guy Winner, hold on tightly to the hands and run!! His steps is urber big, so in order to catch up with him, i got my steps bigger and i start running just to catch his steps. omg. dint have the funny pictures with me, but I'll get it upload asap!!((:
today had real fun on playing the games, knowing many students here. Building up the relationship is the best part and most important of all!!((: At least in China this is what i personally think.
Today during the interaction game, i realise that the local students they were shy to us, and comparing to competitive, i think ourselves are more competitive to them and also we talk a lot about pride. We dare to do things they don't dare, they dare to go on stage to show their talent we dare not so it's all about the environment and culture which had made them and us different in ways.
okayy, that's all for updates tonight. Tmw having IS lecture, so have to wake up as early as 7am.,
